Wash Wanne - New upcoming artist

2

For a long time I loved music and wanted to try to make songs but I was wondering where to start and I didn't know at least how to find a melody.

These are the words the young artist told us when we asked him about his music and how he makes it, where we met him at Nook and he is still making it as he showed us. His name is Dutambirimana Joel popularly known as Wash Wanne, he is only 15 years old and we met him as a child in the professional sector. As shown by a young but exceptionally gifted child who stopped his studies in the sixth year of primary school due to reasons beyond his control.

In the beginning, he faced many obstacles, especially the lack of a starting point for his music. We asked him if there were any donors or others helping him organize his donation and he quickly replied that there were none. He said, "So far I don't see anyone helping me to promote my music, but there is a good company that I found with the help of my friend who was a friend where we live". That center is the Rwanda Nook Hub (RNH) located in the Gahanga sector. It helps many different children by giving them all the tools they need to thrive.

That's where they gave him the first laptop and he started practicing finding melodies and writing songs, and then he made his first beautiful song called Mine with the help of producer Davey Beat in the studio of the company called Nook Records.

As soon as he made a song, he didn't put it out immediately because he didn't have a video for it and he only did the lyrics for it. This young child is determined to become a great and beautiful artist. He concluded by telling me that what is needed is to give him time to listen to his art and help him improve where possible.
